The process of buying a used car has changed drastically over the past decade or so. Rather than having to visit a dingy backstreet used car dealer (whom you would neither trust nor want to associate with at all) the whole affair has become considerable more customer-friendly. With the advent of the digital age, you can now find, view and buy your car online, which is fantastic for those who would rather avoid those uncomfortable, pressurised sales situations.
The last time I was looking for a used car, I started my search online around all the various dealers in my area. It really makes sense for all car dealers to have an online presence these days, as research shows us that 80% of all used car searches begin online. If you are a dealer without a website, you are certainly missing out on many potential sales.
In my personal search, I discovered a fantastic Used BMW that was a very reasonable price and only had one previous owner, who by all accounts seemed to have looked after the vehicle as though it were some kind of golden child. Due to the depreciation of prestige vehicles‘ value on the used market, I got an absolute bargain.
This was only possible by me being able to discover the vehicles existence online. Without the information I garnered over the web, I probably wouldn’t have visited that particular dealership in the first place. This is a very important lesson for all Car Dealers out there.
